The Nail-art.info competition - rules, conducting regulations.
Version 4.0 from 1st June, 2004.
1. Conducting regulations of the 6th international competition Nogti.com.
1.1. The 6th international competition for the best work of nail-art will be taking place from the 1st of January 2003 to the 12th of June 2004.
1.2. Awarding and sizing up will start on the 13th of June.
1.3. Dispatching of diplomas will be accomplished within 30 days from the moment of sizing up.
1.4. Payments will be accomplished within 45 days from the moment of receiving the Essential Elements of winners' accounts in the system Webmoney Transfer WMID# and WMZ#.
1.5. The works, which have been sent, starting from the 2nd of June 2003, as well as the works, unpublished before, are accepted for the 4th competition Nogti.com at the address concurs@nogti.com.
1.6. Transmission of the Works for the competition and disposal of the works on the site Nogti.com is accomplished in accordance with this offer.
1.7. Interests for all the works, represented on the site Nogti.com, are transmitted according to the clause 1.5. of this offer. Sending the works to the address concurs@nogti.com implies consent with the offer and reception of the liabilities for it accomplishing.
2. Stipulations of the competition.
2.1. Those winners of the 6th international competition Nogti.com, who took 3 first places, get money prizes.
2.1.1. The first place, 2 winners (1- "Amateurs", 1 - "Professionals") = 200$ for each.
2.1.2. The second place, 4 winners (2 - "Amateurs", 2 - "Professionals") = 100$ for each.
2.1.3. The third place, 8 winners (4 - "Amateurs", 4 - "Professional") = 50$ for each.
2.2. The prize fund can be increased during the time of competition, depending on the results of Nogti.com financial activity.
2.3. The present prize fund comes to 1200$.
2.4. Both amateurs and professionals can represent their works in the competition.
2.5. Works can be produced for the competition during its whole length.
3. Conducting regulations of the competition.
3.1. All the Works produced by the participants at the address Nogti.com are displayed at the competition according to the clause 4.
3.2. Prize payments start to be conducted after the Judges confirm the results, in accordance with the clause 1.4.
3.3. Professionals and amateurs of nail-art compete separately in their own categories. The Author should indicate his/her rank, producing a work, and remember that usage of technical means for creation of a manicure automatically numbers him/her with professionals.
3.3.1. The Jury has the right to transfer a participant from the professionals to the amateurs and vice versa.
3.4. Participants can produce unlimited amount of his/her works.
3.5. Any competitor can only take one prize place. If the work ranks several prize places it is awarded according to its highest position.
3.6. The judgment of competitors is conducted by:
3.6.1. The Jury, composed of the owners and founders of the system;
3.6.2. Registered users of Nogti.com;
3.6.3 Subscribers of cellular network companies, including such brands, as MTS, Beeline, Megaphon - by SMS-voting.
3.6.3.1. The most active subscribers are awarded by Nogti.com, according to the results of voting.
3.7. The Jury makes crucial decision in case of difficulties with defining one or several finalists.
3.8. Prize payment is conducted through Webmoney Transfer system in dollars USA.
3.9. The owners of Nogti.com accomplish translations of the works into foreign languages.
3.10. Rating of the works is common for all versions of Nogti.com irrespective of the language.
3.11. Sending the works to the address concurs@nogti.com implies consent with the offer and reception of the liabilities for it accomplishing.
4. Requirements for works.
4.1. Works should be sent to e-mail: concurs@nogti.com.
4.2. Any work should include two graphic files of nail-art (format JPG, the first picture - general view, not lager than 800x600pic, size - less than 150 kb; the second picture - the nearest approach to the nail, no more than 150x150pic, size - less than 50 kb); description (total runtime, order of operations, necessary materials and instruments).
4.2.1. Digital picture should be done by putting the hand on the scanner not by using a camera.
4.3.Don't press the hands to the glass (otherwise a picture can be spoiled by white spots of pressed skin), you can hold the scanned hand by the other one or lean on the nails. The more professionally the picture is made as well as the pattern on the nails the more chances for victory you have. Don't insert background pictures. Don't elaborate the picture - send the original (professional editors only can do it).
4.4. Send the works to the address concurs@nogti.com
4.5. An Author should mention the following items, handing the work over:
- the name of the work and Author's full name or a nickname in the field Subject, for example: "The name of the work, full name/nickname";
- the category, into which the work is transferred - Amateurs or Professionals;
- Requisites of the account in the system Webmoney - WMID# and WMZ#;
- his/her e-mail.
4.6. Authors should indicate their category: Amateurs or Professionals. Professionals are those people, who have a certificate or a diploma of nail-art expert or work in the industry of nail service. Authors should also report their names or nicknames.
5. For fans
5.1. Fans can give one mark for one work, displayed in the competition
5.2. Registered users only can vote for the works.
